I flew a group of people out to Kasongo yesterday and one of them told me 30% of the women who visit prisoners in Congolese jails are raped by the jailers or the police. And visit the prisoners they must; because they don't feed the prisoners in these jails. The prisoners live on food brought to them by visitors from the outside.
