Mimia

This is the airfield at Mimia. We just started going there this past week, 3 flights in. The usable runway is 9 meters wide and doglegs, as you can see. What you can't see, are the undulations in the runway surface.
Another view. The airfield is owned and maintained by Catholic Church. There is a footpath going right down the middle of the usable part of the runway so it makes a nice centerline.
A view looking to the Southwest. When the kids saw I was about to take a picture, they all ran to get into the frame. I think those are Ninja fighting poses; ready for action.
Another view to the Southwest. The runway curves to the left.
There isn't much happening in Mimia, so when a plane lands, people come to watch. Some climbed a knoll to get a better view. Just like Wrigley Field.
