The spring we had
And we actually had one. Last year, the weather moved almost directly from winter to summer, cool and cold at night to blazing hot all the time. This year we had a spring. For about two months it was pleasantly warm in the day and just a tiny bit cool at night. There were even a fair number of clear calm days where the sky was pretty to look at. It is starting to get up over 100 during the day now so the spring is ended. But it was quite nice while it was around.

what is the best weather to fly in?
the weather here is really pretty benign compared to the US. we have thunderstorms but the bases of the clouds are always several thousand feet high and they are small and infrequent. not like the monsters found in the US or central africa.
the winds are rarely very strong and when they are, it is mostly right down the runway. not like the US where you can have very very strong crosswinds that last for days and days.
and of course, there are no blizzards here. the worst thing is the dust, which i have commented upon and the equivalent of which is not found in the US.
when is wasn't dusty, this past spring has been about the best weather we've had to fly in. it is getting hot now, even at night. that isn't so good. the airplanes don't perform as well and the flight suit we have to wear makes it that much hotter.
