More Douglas Racers (and one helo)
The Douglas Racer photos were all taken at Wonderboom Airport in South Africa. Wonderboom is just north of Pretoria.
The above photo is me in the R-22 helicopter I took the flying lessons in. This is an officially sanctioned "Hi Mom!" shot.

Great "Hi Mom" shot, except that you forgot to wave.
what kind of a camera are you using, your photographs is super.
sis: us studly pilots don't wave, especially when we are new at it and are afraid to let go of anything for fear the machine will tip over.

Did you at least remember to show the "Hi, Mom" shot to your Mom? And when did studly pilots start admitting that they were afraid of anything?
Niece: It is only THE most studly pilots, and men even, who can admit when they are afraid. The others are just posers...
I did forget to show it to Mom. Could one of you guys show it to her?
You guys have no idea of all the things I am afraid of.
